The Light Sees You Behind the Mask
The mirror shows a face you do not know, a stranger wearing your skin while the world demands you smile. You perform okayness for the crowd, but inside, the reflection feels like a lie.
The light does not need you to recognize it before it recognizes you. It sees the person behind the mask, the one too tired to pretend.
That same light was there before the confusion began, and it will be there when the face finally makes sense again. You are not the stranger in the glass.
