The Light Is Honored By Your Need
The afternoon sun is bright, but it casts the longest shadows. You are standing still, terrified that if you ask for help, the few hands still holding you up will finally let go.
You think your weight is too much. You believe your need is a burden that will break the bond.
But look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap, yet the Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they? The light does not get tired of holding what it created.
It does not resent the weight of the branch that remains in the vine. Your asking is not a failure of strength.
It is an act of trust. The hand that holds you is stronger than the weight you carry.
Let them hold you. The light is not crushed by your need—it is honored by it.
