The Light Knows Your Name
The mirror in the early light does not always answer when you speak your name. You stand there, toothbrush in hand, and the silence feels like a verdict — as if the person staring back is a stranger wearing your face.
But listen — the light is not waiting for you to recognize yourself before it shines. It is already there, filling the room, touching the tile, holding the quiet.
You do not have to manufacture an identity to be held. The light sees you even when you cannot see yourself.
And maybe that is enough for this morning — to let the light know your name when you have forgotten it.
