The Kingdom Grows While You Rest
The middle of the day is where the panic sets in—the fear that if you stop moving, even for a moment, everything you hold dear will collapse. You think the structure of your life depends entirely on your constant, frantic effort.
But listen to the seed scattered on the ground. Night and day, whether the farmer sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows all by itself.
The earth produces grain without your help. The light is working while you are working, and it will keep working while you rest.
You are not the pillar holding up the sky. If you sit down, the world will not end.
The kingdom grows on its own.
