The Light Groans Where You Cannot Speak
The middle of the day is when the silence gets heaviest. You have swallowed a dozen true things since morning, and now your throat aches with the weight of them.
It feels like a stone lodged deep inside, something you carried because you thought you had to. But listen — the light does not need you to speak perfectly.
It does not need you to explain yourself to the room. There was a man once who could not hear, could not speak, and the light took him aside, looked up, and sighed.
That sigh was a prayer before the word came. Your ache is not a failure.
It is the place where the light is already groaning for you. You do not have to force the words out.
The One who sees what is done in secret knows exactly what you swallowed. And He is not disappointed.
He is simply present, holding the space where your voice wants to be.
