The Light Behind the Mask
The middle of the day is when the mask feels heaviest, and hearing your own voice recorded can make you cringe because it sounds like a stranger wearing your skin. That hollow tone you hate is not the truth of who you are — it is just the echo of performance bouncing off the walls of a weary room.
There is a light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world, even when your own ears cannot recognize it yet. You are listening for perfection, but the light is only asking for presence.
The voice that matters is not the one on the tape, but the one speaking life from the inside out.
