The Spring Flows for Today Only
The middle of the day is long, and sometimes the quiet you found this morning feels like it was just a pause before the weight returns. You are bracing for tomorrow's heaviness while standing in today's light.
But the light does not work in advance; it works right here, in this exact breath. Jesus said the water he gives becomes a spring welling up inside you — not a stored reservoir, but a fresh source for this very moment.
You do not have to carry the evening while the sun is still high. The darkness has not overcome the light, and it cannot steal what has not yet arrived.
Stay in the now. The spring is flowing for today only, and that is enough.
