The Sentence That Wants To Free You
The middle of the day is heavy with words you swallow before they can leave your mouth. Your tongue presses hard against the back of your teeth, holding back a sentence that feels too dangerous to speak.
You are afraid that if you let it out, the room will change. That the peace will break.
That you will be seen. But the light does not need your silence to stay present.
It is already in the room, waiting for the truth you are hiding. There is a version of you that does not have to hold its breath.
A version where the words flow like water and do not drown you. You do not have to carry the weight of the unsaid any longer.
The sentence you are swallowing is the very thing that wants to set you free.
