the paralyzing fear that picking a restaurant or a movie will be the wrong choice and prove you are broken beyond repair

You Do Not Have to Get It Right

The menu sits open, and suddenly the weight of the whole day rests on choosing between the soup or the sandwich. You freeze, terrified that picking the wrong one will prove you are broken beyond repair.

But the light does not care about your perfection in the mundane. It cares about your presence.

There is a seed that grows all by itself, night and day, whether you sleep or rise, without your help or your anxiety. The kingdom works while you hesitate.

You do not have to get it right to be held. The light is already in the choice you make, even the trembling one.

Your fear says you must be flawless; the truth says you are already home.
