The Light Is Not Embarrassed By Your Biology
The meeting stretches on, and your world shrinks to a single, terrifying calculation: can you make it to the door before your body betrays you? You sit perfectly still, smiling at the right moments, while inside you are screaming.
The dread is cold and absolute. You are convinced that if you move, everything falls apart.
But the light is not embarrassed by your biology. It does not require you to be composed to be present.
There was a woman who bled for twelve years, untouchable, certain that one wrong move would ruin everything. She pushed through the crowd anyway.
She reached for the hem. And the light did not scold her for her desperation.
It called her 'Daughter.' It told her to go in peace. You are not a traitor to your own flesh.
You are a human being holding on in the middle of the day. The light is sitting right there in the chair with you.
It knows the calculation. It knows the fear.
And it is not waiting for you to be perfect. It is waiting for you to know that even if the worst happens, you are still held.
The dignity you are trying to protect is not yours to keep. It is given.
And it cannot be lost in a room, or on a floor, or in a moment of weakness. You are safe.
Even here. Especially here.
