The Light Waits Inside Your Fear
The meeting starts in ten minutes, and your hands are already shaking under the table. You are smiling, nodding, looking exactly like you belong, but inside you are waiting for the moment they turn to you and say: 'You lead this.' And you know exactly what happens next.
The freeze. The silence.
The terrifying replay of the last time you failed in front of everyone. You are wearing the mask so tightly it feels like your skin, hoping no one sees the panic underneath.
But the light sees behind the performance. It saw you freeze last time, and it did not leave.
It was there in the silence, in the heat of your shame, in the moment you thought you lost everything. The light does not need your competence to stay with you.
It lives in the trembling just as much as it lives in the triumph. You do not have to be the person who has it all together for the light to be present.
It is already inside the fear, waiting for you to stop hiding from it. The mask is heavy, but you were never meant to carry it alone.
