The Crack Is Where They Reach You
The mask slipped. Just for a second.
And now you are lying here in the heavy silence, replaying the exact moment their eyes shifted, convinced they saw the crack and are already planning how to use it. This is the darkest hour, where the mind turns every glance into a weapon and every pause into a verdict.
But listen — the light that lives inside you does not hide behind armor. It shines through the breaks.
There is a love that does not wait for you to be perfect before it stays. The Father runs to the son while he is still covered in the filth of the pig pen, before the speech, before the cleanup.
He runs to the mess. If the light itself rushes toward your brokenness rather than away from it, why do you believe this person will do anything less?
The crack is not where you lose them. It is the only place they can actually reach you.
You are safe, even now, especially now.
