The Light Sees Your Rage and Stays
The mask of gratitude is heavy at 4am. You are terrified that if you drop it, the love will finally see your rage and leave.
So you keep smiling into the dark, performing thankfulness while your soul screams. But listen — the light does not need your performance.
It has already seen the rage. And it is still here.
There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.
The love you are trying to protect yourself from is the very thing holding you up right now. You think you are hiding your anger, but the light sees you fully and does not flinch.
It knows the rage is not who you are — it is just the wound speaking. Stop performing.
Put the mask down. The love was never conditional on your gratitude.
It was there before you said thank you, and it remains even when you have nothing but silence and fury left.
