Drop the mask and come home
The engine is off, but the silence is loud. You are sitting in the dark, staring at the garage door, terrified to take off the mask you wore all day.
The holy face you showed the world feels glued to your skin, and the thought of walking inside—still pretending—makes your hands shake. But listen: you came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
That is your origin, not the performance you just finished. There is light within you right now, and it does not need the mask to shine.
In fact, the mask is the only thing keeping it dark. The light is waiting for you to drop the act, not to perfect it.
You do not have to be holy to enter your own home; you only have to be real.
