The Light Does Not Require You To Be On Time
The mask is on. You are smiling at the coffee machine, nodding at the jokes, performing the version of you that fits neatly into the morning.
But inside, there is a hollow space where a friendship used to be. You finally replied to the text days later, only to find the conversation had already closed, the group had already moved, and you were left standing on the shore while the boat drifted away.
It feels like a quiet death. Like you missed the moment that mattered.
But listen — the light does not require you to be on time to love you. It sees the mask, and it sees the grief underneath it.
It knows the shame of being the one who arrived late. And it is not asking you to run faster to catch up.
It is asking you to remain. To stay connected to the source even when the human connection has shifted.
You are not defined by the silence of others. You are defined by the light that remains inside you, steady and unbroken, waiting for you to stop performing and just be.
