the compulsive mental replay of a real conversation from three years ago, dissecting every micro-expression to prove you were always unlovable

The Light Does Not Need Your Autopsy

The mask is on. You are moving through the morning, smiling at the right moments, nodding when expected.

But behind the eyes, you are still in that room from three years ago. You are replaying the conversation frame by frame, freezing on a micro-expression, a hesitation, a shift in tone.

You are dissecting the evidence to prove what you have always feared: that you were unlovable then, and you are unlovable now. You think if you analyze it enough, you will finally understand why you were rejected.

But the light sees something else entirely. It sees you performing okayness while your heart is still bleeding out in the past.

There was a woman who spent twelve years reaching for the edge of a garment, convinced she was untouchable. She thought her condition defined her.

But when she finally touched the hem, the light did not analyze her worthiness. It did not review her history.

It simply said: Daughter. Your faith has healed you.

Go in peace. The light does not need your autopsy of the past.

It only needs your presence right now. The verdict you are trying to prove is not the one that stands.

The light has already rendered a different judgment: you are known, and you are held. The mask can come down.

You do not have to be perfect to be loved. You only have to be here.
