Rest Beneath the Heavy Mask
The mask is heavy this morning. You walked in, smiled at the right moments, and carried the weight alone because the last time you asked, someone told you not to worry.
That dismissal hurts more than the silence. It makes you feel like a burden for having a need.
But there is a Father who does not offer cheap comfort. He sees the sweat behind the smile.
He knows you are weary and burdened, and he does not tell you to fix it yourself. He invites you to trade the performance for rest.
The light does not demand you look okay. It only asks that you stop pretending.
You are not too much for the One who holds you.
