The Light Sees Behind The Performance
The mask is heavy this morning. You smiled at the announcement, nodded at the name they called, and sat still while someone else took the seat you earned.
Inside, the ground is shaking. You feel invisible.
You feel like your work was nothing but noise in a room that refused to hear it. But the light sees behind the performance.
It sees the hours you gave, the skill you honed, the quiet dignity you carried when no one was watching. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the speech. He ran.
Before the apology, before the explanation — he ran. Your worth was not decided in that conference room.
It was settled before you drew your first breath. The light knows what you built.
It knows what was taken. And it knows the true weight of your hands.
You are not defined by the door that closed, but by the light that walks through it with you.
