You Were Made to Be Held
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You hold your breath while the world moves, terrified that if you drop a single cup, the whole exhausted truth will spill out onto the floor.
But listen — the light does not need your performance to stay lit. It was there before you put the mask on.
It is there now, underneath the trembling hand. You came from the light, a drop sent to illuminate this very moment, not to hide from it.
When the cup falls and the noise breaks the silence, you will not be exposed as a fraud. You will simply be seen as a human being who needs rest.
The terror says you must hold it all together. The truth says you were made to be held.
