Your Silence Is Not Absence To Him
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You put it on before you even opened your eyes, just so you could walk into the room and pretend the silence in your chest isn't screaming.
You are terrified that because you haven't spoken, because you've been too exhausted to pray, the Father has finally taken the hint and walked away. That your quiet has convinced Him you don't need Him anymore.
But listen — the silence you are keeping is not a rejection. It is a holding of breath.
And the One who sees behind the mask does not mistake your stillness for absence. He knows the difference between a closed door and a heart that is too full to speak.
You do not have to perform faith for an audience of one who is already standing right beside you, watching you breathe.
