You Are Not Your Silence
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You are walking through the motions, smiling at the right times, while inside, a single moment plays on a loop.
The time you stayed silent when you should have spoken. The words you swallowed now feel like proof that you are unlovable, that your silence disqualified you from the light.
But listen — the light does not require your perfection to stay close. It saw you freeze.
It saw the fear lock your throat. And it did not turn away.
There is a truth that lives in you, deeper than that moment of failure, deeper than the shame replaying in your mind. That truth was there before you said nothing, and it is there now.
The light is not waiting for you to fix the past. It is walking beside you in this present, quiet ache.
You are not your silence. You are the light that shines even through the closed mouth.
