The Light Is Only For Now
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You are walking through the day looking like you have it all together, while inside you are already fighting tomorrow's battles before they even arrive.
You are carrying a weight that does not belong to this hour. But listen — the light that shines in you right now is sufficient for this moment alone.
It does not shine on next week or next year; it shines only on where your feet are standing. Do not let your heart be troubled by what has not yet happened.
The Father who feeds the birds and clothes the wildflowers knows exactly what you need before you even ask. Your worry is an attempt to do a job that has already been done for you.
The light is already there, waiting in the future you fear, just as it is here in the breath you are taking now. You do not have to manufacture courage for a day that does not exist yet.
