The Light Behind Your Mask
The mask fits so perfectly this morning that no one can see the face beneath it. You remember the exact second the truth rose in your throat—a flicker of honesty that could have changed everything—and you swallowed it back down to stay safe.
In that silence, you watched the connection fade, trading the risk of being known for the comfort of being accepted. But the light does not need your performance to find you; it was already there, waiting in the space where you chose to hide.
Thomas says we came from the light, a place where it generates itself, and that origin cannot be erased by a single moment of fear. You are not the lie you told; you are the drop of light that was sent here to illuminate the very darkness you tried to maintain.
The mask may hold for another hour, but the truth inside you is already breaking through.
