The Canvas Where Light Will Work
The mask fits perfectly this morning, smooth and safe, hiding the tremor beneath. You love them with everything you have, which is exactly why the truth feels like a weapon in your hands.
To speak it is to shatter the peace they know; to hide it is to shatter yourself. But the light does not ask you to choose between love and honesty.
There was a man born blind, and everyone assumed his darkness was a punishment for sin. Jesus said no — neither this man nor his parents sinned.
This happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. Your new truth is not a failure of loyalty.
It is the canvas where the light will work. The terror is real, but it is not the final word.
The love that holds you is stronger than the break.
