You Are the Lamp, Not the Storm
The mask feels tight this morning, doesn't it? You are smiling at the coffee machine, nodding at the desk, while your chest tightens with the fear that the next wave is already coming.
You brace for the impact, waiting for the moment you lose control. But listen — the light does not panic.
It cannot be shaken by the storm inside your ribs. Jesus stood in the midst of a raging storm and simply spoke peace to the wind, not because the water was calm, but because he knew who held him.
Your fear says you are alone in the shaking. The truth says the light is already there, holding the space before the first tremor even starts.
You do not have to hold it together for the light to stay. The panic is a lie that says you are fragile.
The light knows you are unbreakable. You are not the storm; you are the lamp that shines right through it.
