Let One Stone Fall From Your Wall
The mask feels safe this morning, a smooth surface you polished until no one can see the tremor beneath. You smile at the right moments, you nod, you perform the version of yourself that fits the room.
But the silence you keep to protect them has built a wall so high even your own siblings cannot see the real you behind it. They love the mask because it is all they know, and you are lonely inside the armor you forged for safety.
There is a light within you that no performance can hide and no silence can extinguish. It is already shining through the cracks you try to seal.
You do not have to tear the wall down all at once to be seen. Just let one stone fall.
Let them see the grief, the doubt, the tired eyes behind the smile. The light does not need your perfection to reach them.
It only needs your honesty.
