replaying the exact moment the lie slipped out and wondering if they saw right through it

The Face Beneath the Mask

The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You are replaying the exact second the lie slipped out, wondering if everyone in the room saw the crack in your face.

You walked in carrying a performance, but the light walked in seeing the person behind it. There is a truth that lives inside you, and it will be with you forever — not as a weapon to expose you, but as a home to return to.

You do not have to maintain the illusion for the light to recognize you. It already knows the weight you are carrying beneath the smile.

The mask is for the world; the face beneath it is for God. You are seen, not for the lie you told, but for the truth you are hiding.
