You Are Known and Still Held
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You walk into the room smiling, carrying the weight of a secret that tells you: if they really knew, they would leave.
You perform okayness so well that no one suspects the terror underneath. But listen — the light does not love the performance.
It loves the person behind it. There is a truth that lives inside you, and it will be with you forever.
It was there before you put the mask on, and it remains even when you are exhausted from holding it up. You are afraid that being known means being abandoned.
Yet the One who sees everything — every hidden thought, every silent shame — has not turned away. He is not shocked by what you hide.
He is waiting for you to stop performing and just be. The fear says: hide or you will lose them.
The light says: you are already known, and you are still held.
