The Light Survives Behind Your Mask
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You walk into the light of day smiling, while inside you are terrified someone will see the cracks.
You perform okayness so well that you forget where the performance ends and you begin. But the light does not need your smile to find you.
It sees behind the mask. It knows the exhaustion of pretending to be whole.
You are not a fraud for hurting. You are a child of the light who is tired.
The Father's love is not a reward for your performance; it is the ground you stand on before you say a word. You do not have to earn your place in the room by being happy.
The light was inside you before the mask went on, and it remains when the mask comes off. You are not your performance.
You are the light that survives it.
