the fear that speaking your truth will finally mean losing the only family you have left

Your Voice Reveals the Real Home

The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You put it on before you left the house so no one would see the tremor in your hands.

You smile at the coffee machine, at the commute, at the people who think they know you. But inside, there is a silence so loud it hurts.

You are terrified that if you finally speak the truth—if you let the words out that have been burning your throat for years—the door will close. You believe that speaking your light means losing the only family you have left.

But listen: the truth that lives in you was there before the fear, and it will be there after. It cannot be broken by a closed door.

There is a light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If you do not bring it forth, the darkness wins.

But if you speak? Even if they walk away, the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Your voice does not destroy your home; it reveals where the real home is. The light you are afraid to speak is the very thing that will keep you from being lost.
