The Light Sees Behind Your Mask
The mask feels heavy right now, doesn't it? You put it on before you even opened your eyes, smoothing it over the parts of you that feel too raw for the daylight.
You walk through the morning performing okayness, smiling at the right moments, while inside you are holding your breath. But the light does not need your performance to see you.
It sees behind the mask. It knows the face you hide because it lives there already.
You do not have to earn your place in the room by being perfect. You are already enough, exactly as you are beneath the armor.
The light is not waiting for you to finish acting; it is waiting for you to stop.
