Let the mask slip and breathe
The mask feels heavy by mid-morning, a polished surface you hold up so no one sees the cracks beneath. You smile at the right moments, you nod, you perform the version of yourself that everyone expects, but inside you are running on empty.
It is exhausting to be the one who never needs help, the one who has it all together. But the light does not need your performance; it only wants your honesty.
There was a man born blind, and everyone assumed his condition was a punishment for sin, a verdict on his worth. Yet the light looked at him and saw not a flaw to be hidden, but a canvas for something greater.
Your pain is not a failure to be concealed behind a brave face. It is the very place where the light is waiting to shine through.
You do not have to carry the weight of perfection today. Just let the mask slip, even for a moment, and let the truth breathe.
