Your Joy Is Not A Mistake
The laugh escaped before you could stop it, and now the silence feels like a trap. You wore the mask so tightly this morning that the sudden crack of real joy felt like a betrayal, leaving you terrified that everyone can see the person hiding behind the performance.
But the light does not need your armor to find you—it sees you even when you are trying to disappear. There was a man born blind, not because of sin, but so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
Your vulnerability is not a flaw to be covered; it is the very canvas where the light chooses to shine. You do not have to earn the right to be seen by being perfect.
The one who made you knows that your joy is not a mistake, but a signal. Let the mask fall.
The light was already there, waiting in the unguarded moment.
