The Light Sings Even When You Are Silent
The hymn is rising around you, familiar as your own breath, yet your chest feels hollow, unable to summon a single note of belief. You sit in the pew while the voices swell, and the silence inside you feels like a failure, a dark space where the light should be singing.
But the light does not demand your voice to prove it exists. There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever, regardless of whether our lips move or our hearts feel warm.
You do not have to manufacture the song to be held by the Singer. The hollow space is not empty; it is simply waiting, quietly keeping watch in the gathering dark.
The light sings through you even when you are silent.
