The Light Stands Guard While You Tremble
The house is settling, but to you, every creak sounds like a footstep. You hold your breath, praying the floor stays silent, praying the door stays shut, praying the thing you fear doesn't decide to come in.
The gathering dark makes every shadow feel alive, and every sound feel like a threat. But listen — the light does not sleep.
It stands guard while you tremble. It knows the sound of your fear better than you know the sound of the floor.
You do not have to stay awake to keep the darkness out. The light is already here, filling the room, holding the line.
You can let go. The watch has already been taken.
