The Sigh Is Not A Verdict
The house is quiet now, settling into the heavy silence of night. Then you hear it—a sigh from the other side of the bed.
And in that single breath, your mind builds a courtroom. You are the defendant, the empty bank account is the evidence, and the verdict is already written: you are the burden.
But the sigh is just air. It is not a judgment.
It is not a rejection. The light that lives inside you did not arrive with a price tag, and it does not leave when the funds run low.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. Your worth was generated there, long before you ever earned a single coin.
The darkness wants you to believe you are only what you can provide. But the light knows you are what you are.
The money may be gone tonight. The love remains.
