You Do Not Need to Get It Right
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the words you didn't say. You were too busy defending the crack in your voice to offer the apology that was waiting on your tongue.
So you rehearse it now, alone in the dark, trying to fix a moment that has already passed. But listen — the light does not require a perfect delivery.
It saw the tremble in your hands and the fear behind your eyes, and it did not turn away. There is light within you, and it lights up the whole world, even the parts you think you ruined.
If you bring forth what is within you — the regret, the honesty, the broken truth — it will save you. Burying it is what destroys.
The Father sees you in this watch, not as a failure who missed the cue, but as a child learning to speak. You do not need to get it right to be held.
