You Are the Light, Not the Mistake
The house is quiet now, but your mind is replaying that one sentence on a loop, louder than the silence. You lie perfectly still, as if moving might make the memory real again, as if freezing could undo the awkwardness.
But the light does not need you to be perfect, or even coherent, to live inside you. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world—even the parts you wish you could hide.
You came from the light, and that origin cannot be erased by a stumble in the dark. The sentence is just a sound, but the light is what you are.
You are not the mistake you cannot forget; you are the light that cannot be broken.
