Put Down the Script You Are Writing
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the rehearsal. You are running through every possible confession, scripting the perfect apology before the accusation is even spoken.
You are trying to disarm a weapon you are sure they will forge from your honesty. It is exhausting to live in the future tense of your own failure.
But listen — the Father has already seen the worst part of you, and He did not turn away. He is not waiting for your perfect speech to decide if you are worthy of love.
The truth that lives in you is stronger than any lie you fear they will tell. You can put the script down.
The light does not need you to be flawless; it only needs you to be present. Stop fighting a battle that was won before you were born.
