You Are Not the Source of Light
The house is quiet now, but your heart is still loud with the weight of trying to love a world that feels so unlovable. You have poured yourself out until there is nothing left to give, and the darkness seems to swallow every drop of light you offer.
Yet the Father has not asked you to generate the sun; He only asked you to remain. There is a love that does not depend on your ability to fix the brokenness around you — a love that existed before you tried, and will exist after you stop.
You are not the source; you are the vessel. The exhaustion you feel is not a sign that the light has failed, but a sign that you have forgotten you are held by the One who overcame the world.
Lay down the burden of saving what was already saved. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
