You Can Put the Armor Down
The house is quiet now, but your bones are still humming with the day's performance. You have been the strong one, the steady hand, the one who holds the ceiling up while everything else shakes.
But the gathering dark does not need your strength tonight. It only needs your presence.
There is a rest that is not earned by holding on, but by finally letting go. The light does not ask you to be a pillar.
It asks you to be a person. You can put the armor down.
The One who holds you is not tired.
