The Holiest Sound Is Your Cry
The house is quiet now, but your body is screaming a need you are terrified to voice. You sit frozen in the dark, calculating the shame of being seen unable to clean yourself, preferring the physical pain to the humiliation of dependence.
But listen — there is a light that has walked through every human mess and never once turned away in disgust. It does not recoil from the broken body or the failed function.
It sees the bruised reed that everyone else would snap, and it refuses to break you further. The darkness you fear is not the absence of love; it is the presence of a dignity you have misplaced.
You are not your inability. You are the light living inside a vessel that is currently failing, and that light is not dimmed by the spill.
Let the cry for help be the holiest sound in the room tonight.
