Get Up When Your Body Fails
The house is quiet now, but your body is loud with the memory of what it could not do today. You trained it, begged it, starved it for this one thing, and it failed you when it mattered most.
In the watch of the night, the silence feels like an accusation that you are broken beyond repair. But listen — the light does not require your body to be a temple of performance to make its home there.
Jesus saw a man who had been unable to walk for thirty-eight years, lying beside a pool he could never reach, and did not ask him to try harder. He simply said: get up.
The failure of your flesh is not the end of your story, because the life inside you was never dependent on your muscles holding. You are not your limitation.
You are the light that shines even through the broken vessel.
