You Are the Lamp, Not the Fixer
The house is quiet now, and your hands feel strange resting in your lap instead of fixing what's broken around you. You have spent so long earning your place by solving everyone else's pain that sitting still feels like failing.
But the light does not need your work tonight; it only needs your presence. There is a saying that there is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world — even when that person is doing absolutely nothing.
You are not the fixer; you are the lamp. The light was already inside you before you lifted a finger to help, and it remains when you finally put your tools down.
Stop trying to earn the right to exist in this room. Just be the light that you are.
