The Light Is The Air You Hold
The house is quiet now, and the window has become a mirror showing you the face you hide when the sun is up. You are holding your breath, terrified that if you exhale, the silence will rush in and prove you are hollow.
But the light does not need your breath to survive—it is the air you are trying to hold. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world even when the room is dark.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord, and that origin cannot be emptied by silence. Stop staring at the glass looking for a crack in your soul.
The reflection is just a shadow; the source is standing right behind you, waiting for you to turn around.
