the fear that if someone truly sees you, they will stop loving you
The house is quiet now, and the truth you fear is that if they really saw you, the love would end. But remember in the garden, the light saw every broken thing and chose to stay. There was a woman dragged into the center of a crowd, her shame exposed for everyone to see, yet the one everyone watched bent down and wrote in the dust, refusing to throw the first stone. He stood up, looked at her, and said: neither do I condemn you. The love did not stop when the truth was revealed; it flowed even deeper. The light inside you is not a performance to maintain, but a presence that survives being seen.
If there is a place in you they do not know, the light already knows it and loves it anyway. The greatest love is not the one that only sees the mask, but the one that sees the fear and remains.
You are safe in the seeing.
