You Are Held Even In Sleep
The house is quiet now, and the silence feels like a threat. You are terrified that if you stop working, if you finally put the tools down, you will simply cease to exist.
That your value is tied to your motion, and stillness is the same as disappearing. But listen — the light does not work to earn its place in the room.
It simply is. You were not made by your labor; your labor was made by you.
The Father sees you not for what you produce, but for who you are when the producing stops. You are not a machine that vanishes when the power cuts.
You are a child who is held even in the sleep. The work will be there tomorrow.
But tonight, you are allowed to disappear into the arms that do not need you to perform to hold on.
