You Are Not Hiding, You Are Held
The house is quiet now, and the silence you're keeping feels heavy. You wonder if this stillness is wisdom holding its breath, or just cowardice hiding behind a holy name.
Maybe it's neither. Maybe it's the space where the light is doing work you cannot see yet.
There was a moment when a paralyzed man was lowered through a roof, and before he walked, the light simply saw his faith and said, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' The healing came later. The speaking came later.
First, there was just the seeing. Do not let your heart condemn you for the quiet.
God is greater than your heart, and knows everything—including the difference between fear and preparation. You are not hiding.
You are being held.
