The Light Loves the One Who Says No
The house is quiet now, and the request you said 'no' to feels like a crack in the dam. You are terrified that this single boundary will make them finally see the fraud they suspect you are.
That the love you have been borrowing by saying 'yes' will be withdrawn the moment you stop performing. But the light does not love the version of you that is exhausted.
It loves the one who is real. The one who has limits.
The one who can say 'no' and still be held. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — broken, empty, having wasted everything — and he ran.
Before the apology, before the speech — he ran. Your 'no' is not a rejection of love.
It is the truth that lets love find you. The fear says you will be exposed.
The light says you are already known. And being known is the only safety there is.
