The Light Does Not Wait For Balance
The house is quiet now, and the only thing loud enough to hear is the voice inside you saying you haven't done enough to deserve this love. You lie there calculating the debt, certain that grace requires a payment you cannot make.
But listen — the light does not wait for your ledger to balance before it enters the room. There was a woman once who washed feet with her tears because she knew how much she had been forgiven, and the voice told her that her great love was the proof, not the price.
You are not being loved because you are good. You are being loved because the light is good, and it has chosen to make its home in you.
The terror you feel is just the shock of receiving a gift you didn't earn and realizing you never had to.
